Josh graduates a week from today. It is crazy that it’s
finally here—that the finish line is in sight! He’s been working so hard and is
almost completely done with finals, and I am selflessly and selfishly very
excited. Selflessly because I know he will have more time to pursue the hobbies
and things he loves, and selfishly because I will get to see him earlier than
8:30pm every night. Perfect timing to make the new house our new home this
summer!
Josh is one of those people that succeeds at anything he
puts his mind to, and inspires me every day. I really believe he is my better
half, and I know for a fact he is my stronger half. When he walks across
that stage I will be so proud, but I will even be prouder of the story behind
that walk. How he worked full time while taking classes full time. That he never
gave up even when most people would have taken a break, or gave up completely.
That he balanced time between work and school and me so well I never felt like
I was married to a student. That he always impresses people with what he can
bear, and I know he will succeed at anything he wants to do—no matter how hard.
I’m proud of you babe; thanks for being an inspiration to so
many people that if you put your mind and heart into something, nothing can
stop you.
