Jessica and Brian were off on
a totally awesome adventure last week to Jerusalem, so the niece and nephew
spent some time up here! We had a great time celebrating Reese’s birthday,
going to the park, and just hanging out.
One of Reese’s birthday presents
was an Easy Bake Oven, and let me tell you, those things are way fancier than
they were back in my day! Conveyer belts, fancy trays, a variety of treats. Like,
part of me wants one for work. But, like most toys these days, with great awesomeness
comes some complications.
After the festivities, Julie and
I were chatting when we turned to see this:
We started laughing—that little
purple Easy Bake Oven had become serious business to the guys!!
Luckily they got the oven to work,
and we all lived happily ever after.
